The project is a sub item of the two level project of geological and mineral survey in the middle and west part of the Nanling metallogenic belt, which is undertaken by the Guangdong Geological Survey Institute. On the basis of systematic collection and comprehensive analysis of the existing geological data, the project has carried out a 1 to 50 thousand regional geological and mineral survey, determined the stratigraphic sequence of the investigation area, divided the 27 stratigraphic units and 9 unofficial mapping units, and redefined the bottom of the Devonian, Late Carboniferous and Late Permian strata in the investigation area, The division of tiger head group, Tai Po formation, Huanglong Formation, Chuanshan formation, Shui Zhu Tang formation and nine Po formation have raised the accuracy of investigation and study in the investigation area, laid the foundation for the stratigraphic contrast in the northwest of Guangdong Province, disintegrated the intrusive rocks in the investigation area, divided the 10 mapping units, and carried out the petrology, petrochemistry and geochemistry of the intrusive rocks. And other studies, basically established the regional tectonic framework, identified the nappe structure of Lianzhou, found 1 new rare earth ions and 4 polymetallic mineralization sites.
During the period of the review, the experts reviewed the project results report, drawings and accessories in detail, listened to the report of the project results, inquired and discussed fully, and finally agreed that the project completed the task book, the objectives set by the contract book, the detailed information, the rich content of the report, the geological map and the specification of the thematic map. Agreed to pass the review.
